Wheat Germ Crackers

Haven't posted in a long time, but here's a semi healthy snack.
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 2/3 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 tsp salt
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. Blend oil, butter, sugar and water
3. Stir in flour, oats, wheat germ and salt
4. Mix well - it will be a little oily
5. Knead dough and shape into ball
6. Roll out to 1/8 inch thickness on an unfloured board
7. Cut into shapes or use a cookie cutter
8. Use either parchement paper or ungreased baking pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown
