2 cups chickpeas - if you're not using canned, make sure to soak for at least a day
1 carrot, grated
1/2 onion, minced
2 button mushrooms, chopped
1 garlic, minced
1/4 cup wheat germ
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
2 tbsp cumin
1/2 tsp hot chili powder
2 eggs
1/4 cup Parmesan (optional)
2 tbsp cheddar or mozzarella (optional)
pepper (optional) NO SALT
flax seeds (optional)
oil for frying (optional)
1. Rinse and drain chickpeas 2. Strain the veggies 3. First mash the chickpeas, then add veggies and continue mashing 4. Add wheat germ, breadcrumbs, cumin, hot chili powder, pepper, flax seeds, and cheeses, and mix in. 5. Add the 2 eggs. 6. Make the patties 7. If frying, add oil on pn pand fry on each side for about 7-10 minutes on medium-heat high, until heated through and sides are browned 8. If baking, bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes on each side.
1. Whisk dry ingredients together 2. Mix wet ingredients together 3. Slowly mix wet ingredients into dry until blended. 4. Heat gridle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Spray pan with oil spray. 5. Pour/scoop 1/4 cup batter. Brown on bth sides, turning once.

Then mix in milk and vanilla extract. 4. with mixer on low, add dry ingredients to wet ingredients. 5. fold in blueberries. 6. bake for 24-27 minutes. its ready when you insert a toothpick and it comes out clean.
