- 1.5 lb ground chicken (I actually just chopped up chicken)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup wheat germ
- a small onion - or half a big one
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp cilantro, minced (original recipe called for this, but i didn't use. patty seemed fine)
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- salt and pepper
- 1 egg
2. Form as many patties as you want depending on size (I made 6 medium patties with this).
3. For this patty, you can use whatever way you want to cook the patty.
Pan Fry: Heat 2 tbsp oil to medium heat. Cook on both sides for 5 mins each side depending on size.
Grill: On a grill with oiled racks, grill patties for 4 mins on each side.
Oven: (I haven't tried this yet, but I would suggest 350 F for 12 mins ish, flip in between.)
