Apple Crisp

  • 4-5 apples
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
Crisp topping:
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats (instant ones)
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts (around 10 halves)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
1. Preheat over to 375 F
2. Mix apple, brown sugar and cinnamon together and place in 8x8 baking dish
3. Mix crisp toppings except butter together and using pastry blender or knives to cut in butter. (if you're lazy, you can chop butter into small pieces and add on top of dry ingredients.
4. Spread topping over apples, and bake for 35-40 minutes.

Its not THAT healthy. But compared to a few variations of these, this is better. Taken from here.

I actually messed up big time, and dropped over half this thing when I was about to put it in the oven. I even got flour stuff all over my jeans :/

This is bascially what it looked like after i scooped it out and put it in a bowl. I'm gonna retry next weekend, and I will not drop it D<
