toasted chickpeas

  • however many chickpeas you want to toast that can fit on the baking pan
  • 1tbsp cumin
  • 1/2 tbsp hot chili powder (regular chili powder is fine, i just didn't have any)
  • juice of 1 small lime
  • pepper
1. Preheat oven to 400F
2. Rinse and drain the chickpeas.
3. Toss in lime juice.
4. Add cumin and chili powder, then put on oiled baking pan. or use aluminum foil.
5. Add pepper on top.
6. Bake for 20 minutes, then give it a toss, then bake for another 15-20 minutes depending how crispy you like it.



it was a little spicy :P, but still pretty good. awesome snack that doesn't pack away the calories.
